France Saint Honorat from Lerins Islands
Even without aerial, the island is a quick escape by bus boat from Cannes city. This spot is about the rocks around the island and in the background the fortress with a small cloister inside. What is nice about the aerial shot fan (with a drone) is that this area is (for now) okay to fly (but you need to stay under 50m) and of course, you cannot fly over the Lerins Abbey for privacy. Yet around the fortress is fine.
Photography Tips
Better to go there end of the day to get low light from the back. Yet you need to pay attention to the last boat time and give yourself 10-15 to walk back to the other side of the island to catch the boat. Another way is to go in December or begin January as you have low light earlier. This panorama was shot around 3 p.m. at the end of December.
Travel Information
