France Le Mont Saint-Michel- From the water
Overlooking the great Mont Saint-Michel stood ankle-deep in the marshland, from a distance walking up to this location with the sun setting quickly, tangible light fading so I bit the bullet and stepped into the questionable surface where my whole foot submerged. Shoes in one hand and my tripod in the other I tracked the 50m or so over rocks and through the water just in time to catch the blue hour shift. Having 2 cloud types made for a dynamic 30-second long exposure, the tranquil scene oozed solidarity from a unique view of this popular structure.
Photography Tips
Mud tracking boots, Tripod, x3 old CDs (used to the greater surface area of tripod legs to prevent sinking).
