France Toulouse, Saint Michel bridge
Toulouse is known as "the pink city" in France. In the city center, the Saint Michel bridge is a nice point of vue on the river Garonne and ths banks.
Photography Tips
The best lights can be seen at blue hour, when the colours of the city bricks show a nice contrast with the lights.
Bring a telezoom (70/200mm for exemple) to be able to zoom on the "Pont Neuf" bridge towards the north. You will need a solid tripod, as cars and tramways pass by very often and generate a lot of vibrations. The bridge is not exactly still and long exposure are tricky to manage. It is by the way a nice spot to try panorama shots.
