The Château de la Gabelle is just outside Ferrassiére surrounded by lavender. Especially during Lavender blossom time the old building is very photogenic. The Château is also a Bed & Breakfast and is highly recommended.

Photography Tips

Try to make a shot before sunrise. The best time for Lavender in Provence is the last week of June and the first two weeks of July. Later will the Lavender be cut off.
