A sturdy tripod, wide angle lens and also a 55-140 could be useful. Be prepared to deal with tons of people invading your photos. Kindness is not in human DNA.
Be curious and explore the entire zone, just to escape the classic (and crowded spot) and find your own Valensole.

Parking is available almost everywhere, pay attention not to disturb local farmers and destroy their work. We are allowed to take photos in their lands… so be respectful.
