This place is the southest point of Groix island, which is a french britanny island. This island is a bit away of the classical touristic tours, and it is not so crowded.

The best time is for sunrise or sunset, during mid to low tide. Bring your tripod and filters.
Travel Information
The crossing to reach Groix island can be done with one of the many boats. The boat from Lorient will take you in less than one hour to Port Tudy. Once on the island, rent a bike to reach the "pointe des Chats". By bike, the ride will take you 15 minutes from "port Tudy". Do not forget your headlamp if you plan to go for sunrise or sunset.
