France Nouveau Pont de Térénez
Inaugurated in 2011, the Térénez bridge is one of a kind, holding the world span record for this type of span, with its 515 meters in length. With its lambda pylons, it combines spectacular aesthetic quality with less dangerous turns, enhancing the Aulne valley. Prized for its aesthetic and technical qualities, the Térénez bridge has become an emblem of the department, attracting many visitors.
The Finistère Departmental Council has decided to make it a starting point for hiking and discovering the Valley by developing 2.9 km of mixed track (bikes/pedestrians) currently in service and by deconstructing the old bridge in 2015.
He still had to develop the two belvederes on either side of the bridge to complete this operation to highlight this exceptional work and this remarkable site.
