Unesco heritage with the Vauban's towers in the little normand harbor of Saint Vaast la Hougue.
This spot is for the mainland tower, a sister tower is nearby on an island called Tatihou.

Photography Tips

To well look at tide table. At low tide the foreground may be not so nice and at high tide the angle of view on the tower may be limited.

When I visited the tower was lighted both at sunrise and sunset.

Travel Information

Free car park, as indicated on the map. Then few minutes walk.
