Travel Information
Leave the car park at Ferrere and follow the signs for the Col du Fer, turn left, and continue to the Collet Tortisse. You will come across the rock arch on the road down to the refuge and the Vens lakes.
This arch is located inside the Mercatour National Park, so although it is allowed by the park to sleep at the collet tortisse just above it is important not to leave traces.
