France Castle of Montrésor
The castle of Montrésor, built on a rocky outcrop, on the side of the hill that dominates the concavity of a meander of the Indrois, on its right bank, saw houses being built at its feet from the Middle Ages and constitute little near the town of Montrésor, 17 km east of Loches.
Established on a terrace at an altitude of 106 m, the castle site dominates the Indrois valley to the south by about fifteen meters.
