France Falaises d´Etretat vues de la mer, Normandy

The cliffs of Etretat with their picturesque chalk cliffs and the many wide fields invite you to go on great hikes. Especially early in the morning, the charm of the cold sea breeze combined with a delightful sky as a contrast to the bright rocks will wake you up.

If you are here at the Etretat spot, don't just look for the familiar motif with the needle in the water and the arch, but also turn around and look for other possibilities like in this picture. Here the sky was glowing at sunrise, while in the other direction there were no pink/reddish colors at all. To make the picture a little more exciting, you could use an open aperture and then take a lens into the blur.

You can park right in the heart of Etretat. From there, you can start your hike along the cliff. Avoid the midday hours, as it will be very busy then. It is also important to bear in mind that there are now barrier lines that you should not cross.
