France Mont-Saint-Michel
Le Mont Saint-Michel is a popular and quite touristic place in Normandy, France. It's still a great area for photography and especially this spot east of the bridge on the shore of the sandy beach is a really good place to get a nice foreground element for your image.
Photography Tips
A path for pedestrians and buses leads directly to Mont Saint-Michel, but there are always lots of people on it. Therefore, you should leave the path to the left or right and look for a suitable spot for your picture. Dirt-resistant shoes, preferably wellies, are highly recommended as you will be walking through mudflats.
The fortress is often photographed in the evening or at night when it is well-lit. However, the best time for a photo also depends on the weather.

Travel Information
You can get there on all day times. But the bus transfer from the parking area to the spot is only available during the daytime. You can't drive directly to it. It´s also possible to use a bike.
Officially, however, you can only use the landing stage with a paid shuttle or on foot. Walking has a big benefit in that you can scout different perspectives as you come closer.
