Riquewihr is a picturesque village in the Alsace region of France, known for its charming half-timbered houses and beautiful vineyards. Nestled between the Vosges Mountains and the Rhine River, it offers narrow cobblestone streets lined with shops and wine cellars. The well-preserved medieval architecture and lovely market square make it a perfect spot to explore, enjoy local Alsatian wines, and savor delicious tarte flambée. It truly feels like stepping back in time!

Photography Tips

The best time to visit Riquewihr is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October). In late spring, the weather is pleasant, and the vineyards are lush and green. Autumn is especially beautiful when the leaves change color, creating a stunning backdrop for the village.
