France Le Petite Camargue Alsacienne

This sight is varied, there are lakes, small streams and a canal. The park has several hides which you can take pictures from.
There are obviously a lot of regional birds here, but there is also a herd of highland cattle. I have also seen a coypu and a pelican here.
At sunset, you will also find roes and boars, and during spring & summer some storks.

Photography Tips

You will need a long zoom some of the hides are a long way from the lakes.

Travel Information

This is a small Nature reserve in France, near the border of Switzerland and Germany, and very close to Basel.

There is a big parking there. It take approximately 1 hour to go around the area.
Bikes are not prohibited.
