France Phare du Petit Minou
The lighthouse has stood guard over the Brest Strait since 1848. It is probably so popular as a destination because of its proximity to the port city. Even at sunrise, I wasn't alone for long and four other photographers were frantically setting up their tripods.
Photography Tips
Unlike the other spots, you have to climb down the slope to the left of the bridge until you reach the rocks. Wear sturdy shoes and use a headlamp. The descent into complete darkness is not without danger. From here you have the best light at sunrise. But beware of high tide and storms, the waves can get very uncomfortable here. A wide-angle lens like the 16-35mm is recommended.
