This spot is in the Neouvielle natural reserve, next to the french Pyrenees national park. It is a well known location to shoot natural landscapes, lakes, pines, granite rocks.

Photography Tips

Best season is summer, as soon as the road is opened. In early June and July, there will still be snow in the mountains for more photographic potential.
This spot is best for sunrise, but it may be very good at sunset if your walk around the lake to find nice rocks and pines.

Travel Information

You can go there by car from June to October, between 19h00 and 9h00 to park your car at the very end of the road. In summer between 9hAM and 19hPM, you have to pay and park your car near Oredon lake and use a bus to reach the spot.
The road is closed in winter.
