Germany Gedenkstätte Berliner Mauer
!961 the Berlin Wall was errected by the communist dictatorship of eastern Germany, the "German Democratic Republic" (DDR). After the wall fell in November 1989 most of it was destroyed. At Bernauer Straße you can see where the wall ran along. The rusty sticks symbolize the wall. In an exhibition center more informations are given and not far away there is a platform where visitors can see the construction of the wall an was behind it. This I created as an extra spot.
