Germany Old Harbour, Lüneburg
the old harbour at the Ilmenau river was very important in the old ages, because salt, the major product of Lüneburg, was shipped from here to Lübeck and from there all around the Baltic Sea. The historical crane is still reminiscent of these days. The stint, a small fish, was caught and sold here. So the street with the stepped gables houses is named Stintmarkt (stintmarket).
