The Raumsau Aach (Ger: Ramsauer Ache) at Zauberwald near Hintersee is definitely one of the must sees for any photographer. The river offers some great opportunities to get some really nice long exposure photos.

Photography Tips

A sturdy tripod, ND filters and a polarizer are highly recommended for this spot. There are at least 2 nice positions for the tripod. One is on the stone at the river itself or if you prefer a little bit more water in the foreground, you might place the tripod as shown on the behind the scenes images.

Travel Information

You can leave your car at parking place near the lake called "Seeklause", which is only 3-5 minutes away from this specific spot at the river. You can find it by having a look at the behind the scenes images, where one of them is showing a wooden railing. Just leave the trail below the railing towards the river.
