The Gotzenalm is a mountain hut in the Berchtesgaden National Park. Its location offers a great view on the Watzmann and the "Steinerne Meer".

Photography Tips

Don't bring too much heavy gear with you, the hut is about 1200m above Königssee level and the hike up there is pretty tough.

Travel Information

There are a few hiking tracks to get up to the Gotzenalm. The common ones are starting at the Königssee Car Park and hiking all the way (about 12km and 1200m elevation) or take the boat to the "Kessel" and hike from there (same elevation, but steeper).
