Germany Driftwood in Holnis
Holnis is a peninsula north-east of Glücksburg and a nice nature reserve. The landscape is dominated by forests, cliffs and salt marshes. At the foot of the cliff there is a lot of driftwood in bizarre shapes, which is perfect as foreground for a sunset photo.
Photography Tips
The sunset overlooking the fjord is beautiful, the view of Denmark on the opposite shore is breathtaking. The cliffs are best photographed just before sunset, as they are shaded in the morning.
Travel Information
About two kilometres from the cliffs there is a public car park and a camping site. The way to the cliffs is more of a path. It's a bit of a hassle on a bicycle, but it can be done.
