Germany Olympisches Dorf
In the 1960s and 70s many concrete paradises with highrise buildings and parks in the middle were built in a wave of optimism. In most cases, it wouldn't take long before the would take a turn for the worse and become the dirty and dreadful places like most of them are.
The Olympic Village in München, built for the 1972 Olympic Games, is an exception. It is well kept, squeaky clean, and it still has a very positive vibe to it. The metal tubes, in several colours contrast with the concrete buildings. The tubes are purely decorative. It's not the most obvious spot in Munich to get a price winning picture, but for those who like a challenge, there are a lot of nice angles to find.
