If you are in the Karwendel region, you should definitely not miss the lake Schmalensee. A beautiful little lake with spectacular reflections of the Karwendel mountains.

Photography Tips

Take your tripod and catch the reflections. The best time is when the sun shines on the mountains. In the morning or evening :-)

In the late autmn you won't be able to catch the typicall alpenglow, so consider to go there in spring or summer.
