Germany View from Furnace 5, Duisburg-Nord Landscape Park
The view from blast furnace 5 offers a great view over the entire Duisburg-Nord Landscape Park in Germany.
Photography Tips
Blast Furnace 5, which can be walked up to its head, is a real highlight in the Duisburg-Nord Landscape Park. Here visitors not only have the opportunity to understand the blast furnace process, but also have a far-reaching view of Duisburg, the western Ruhr area and the Lower Rhine from a height of 70 metres. A steel staircase takes visitors to the viewing platform at the top of the blast furnace.
Blast Furnace 5 and its viewing platform are free of charge, open 24/7. In snow, storm and icy conditions, however, the blast furnace is closed for safety reasons.
