The largest German peat sea in East Frisia, Lower Saxony.
Unfortunately, the plankway is closed by now, it is partially damaged and needs some work to become safe again.
Hopefully, the local community will find a way to finance the repairs because this spot has a lot to offer.

Photography Tips

Long exposures are helpful here. Very good place to try out some minimal compositions, especially great for black&white.

There is parking (as marked) but as mentioned above the plankway is closed by now, so better check with local Informations about reopening.
