Germany A3, Siebengebirge

I've been here so many times until I got this amazing sunset I am satisfied with. This spot offers a pretty cool view down the A3 freeway towards Cologne. I also like all these cars that are rushing past from the perspective of a photographer, but also in terms of this sound I could listen to for hours.

If you want to frame the whole scene like I did you probably need something around a 16mm lens on a fullframe camera or a 10mm lens on an APS-C sensor.
It helps if you have an ND filter with you to get these light trails and the sunset during the same time. I took my photo without one and just waited long enough until blue hour to have about 10 seconds exposures for the freeway. My image are therefor basically 2 images in one: The sunset/sky and the landscape with the light trails.
You should also take care when you take the shot because the bridge is a little bit shacky, especially when heavier vehicles are traveling by. Wait until the bridge is empty and take your photo during that time to ensure sharper results.

If you just want to take a few shots you can leave your car just on that bridge. I am not sure if this is allowed, but I see there a lot of others cars from time to time parking on that bridge to advertise with prints on these cars or trucks.
