Germany Sellin Pier View from above
This is one of the most picturesque piers along the German Baltic Coast. In the evening it is illuminated but there are lots of people around making it difficult to photograph. At Sunrise it is very quiet and a great photo location.
Photography Tips
A regular lens will do, but you will need a tripod and preferably some ND filters to smooth the water and the clouds, also an ND grad filter for the sky and the rising sun.
Travel Information
Parking is available nearby. The pier is at the end of the street filled with shops and restaurants. You can either photograph the pier from above or walk down the steps to get a level view. There is also a free elevator that can take you down.
