The Breitachklamm is probably the most beautiful and amazing gorge in the Allgäu Alps and the deepest canyon in Central Europe.

Photography Tips

Sometimes this spot is quite crowded, avoid the rush hour. You will probably need a tripod to take photos inside the gorge. Don't miss the view from above, there is a bridge at the southern end of the gorge.

Travel Information

You can take a walk through the gorge starting at the Visitor Center in Tiefenbach. There is a car park and the public bus from Oberstdorf stops there. Admission is 4.50€ currently.
