This place offers an amazing view down to Hammerstein and the Rhine. It's part of the "Rheinsteig" you can hike along the Rhine with many beautiful views and places to enjoy.

Photography Tips

I had no clouds when I was there, but a great timing should be early in the morning when there is fog over the river. From this view the sun is rising from the left, which is pretty decent to get an amazing blue hour / sunrise shot from this spot. It's also probably a good idea to be there during autumn / winter to have more car trails in the early morning.

Usually you would hike up there, but it's also possible to get there by car.
