Germany Mespelbrunn Castle
Mespelbrunn Castle is (for me at least) a different kind of castle, compared to what else I have seen in Germany so far. With the water around it, the forest rising aorund it, it just makes a very picturesque scene.
I stayed at the adjacent 'Schloss Hotel', and was a bit slow checking in, so I missed the good sunlight in the late afternoon. Just mangaged to get my gear setup, and the photos taken, before it started pouring down

Photography Tips
What probably would make it better, would be shooting with fall colours.
Late afternoon shooting will give the best light.
A tripod would be a good thing to bring along.

Travel Information
I stayed at the adhjacent hotel, where free parking is included. Walk to the castle is just a couple of minutes.
There is also a visitors carpark, which cost a few euros, and the walk is about 5 minutes to the castle.
In order to take proper pictures, you will need to purchase access to the castle property. Believe it was 5 euros. Check opening hours on castles webpage.
