Germany Dominikanerkirche in Münster
The painter and sculptor Gerhard Richter has created a work of art in the baroque Dominican Church in Münster that will have a prominent place on the map of Germany for those interested in culture and art: "Two Grey Double Mirrors for a Pendulum", a Foucault pendulum with a 48-kilogram metal ball that swings in the centre of the building between four highly rectangular, mirrored glass tracks on a 28.75-metre-long stainless steel cable. For viewers, a visit to the profaned church becomes an encounter with time and with their idea of reality.
Since June 2018, the Dominikaner-Kirche(Church) in Münster has been hosting Gerhard Richter´s artwork "Tow Gray Double Mirrors for a Pendulum. The focal point ot the installation is a Fourcault pendulum, a device to domonstrate the earth´s roatation.
