Great viewpoint with a view of the Lahn loop.
The Gabelstein is one of the most striking viewpoints in the Lahn Valley, it is a legendary rock made of volcanic diabase almond stone.

Photography Tips

There are several ways to take pictures of the valley, either from two rocky outcrops, or from the observation hut.
Be sure to wear sturdy shoes

Travel Information

Follow the K34 from Cramberg to the hiking parking lot Gabelstein and Hölloch.
Cross the street to the left side and follow the forest path for about 10-15 minutes.

Wow, that's quite a nice view. I am not even living that far away from it, but I've never seen it before. I guess that's a great place for a next photo trip, thank you very much for adding this place dear Markus!
