It's very overwhelming to witness the New Years Eve in Hamburg. Many shipowners sell a passage on the Elbe, so it's possible to see the great fireworks from the water.

Photography Tips

A tripod is useless onboard a ship. Instead a fast lens and high ISO is required in order get some good shots.
My settings:
Canon EOS 70D with Sigma 2.8/17-50 mm EX HSM at 33 mm, f/3,2, 1/60s, ISO 5000
