Germany Palace Biebrich, Wiesbaden
On the banks of the Rhine in the Wiesbaden district of Biebrich lies Biebrich Palace, one of the most important Baroque palaces along the Rhine. Biebrich Palace, which was conceived as a garden cottage in 1701 and expanded into a residential palace by 1703 and eventually served as the main residence of the princes and dukes of Nassau until 1841, is now used by the Hessian state government for representational purposes and for ceremonies.
