Der Aufstieg zu Fuß entschleunigt maßgeblich. Rundherum gibt es jede Menge Ausblick auf den Rhein, das Denkmal und natürlich die Weinberge. Weiter hinten gibt es schöne Ausblicke auf Bingen und dem Binger Mäuseturm im Rhein

Hier in den Weinbergen haben sich die meisten weltweiten Besucher aus dem arg gebeutelten Rüdesheim weitesgehend verloren; zumindest mit Bezug auf "zu Fuß" laufen. (die meisten fahren mit der Seilbahn zum Niederwald-Denkmal)
