Germany Bode Museum, Berlin
The Bode Museum is one of the groups of museums on the Museum Island in Berlin, Germany; it is a historically preserved building. The museum was designed by architect Ernst von Ihne and completed in 1904. Originally called the Kaiser-Friedrich-Museum after Emperor Frederick III, the museum was renamed in honour of its first curator, Wilhelm von Bode, in 1956.
Photography Tips
This Spot is in the Center of City. You can go to manny Spots around this Place...
There’s a bridge where you can shoot this composition from, but a word of warning: the footway on this bridge is a semi-permanent metal structure, and both pedestrians and vehicles crossing the bridge tend to make it wobble a little, which is obviously problematic for long exposures. At sunrise you can get about 30 seconds without any traffic crossing the bridge if you time it right, but that’s about the limit. You can shoot from the riverside which is stable, but l the composition from there isn’t so easy because of the overhanging trees.
