Germany Canyon Lengerich
The Lengerich Canyon is a former limestone quarry that filled with water after it was closed down.
Today it is a habitat for rare plants and animals. Nature has priority here - no trespassing! An approximately four-kilometre-long circular hiking trail leads around the sensitive protected area. From three viewing platforms, you have wonderful views of the canyon with its sparsely overgrown rock walls and turquoise blue water.
