Beautiful castle and always worth a half-day trip in combination with the "Drachenfels" viewpoint. On the day on which I took the photo, the castle featured the art installation "Schlossleuchten".

Travel Information

You should use the "Drachenfelsbahn" up there if you don't want to walk up to the top, especially if you are there for "Schlossleuchten" because you don't want to walk all that way down the hill in the dark.
