The lighthouse Westerheversand stands on a mound in front of the place Westerhever. The lighthouse is the most famous landmark of the Eiderstedt peninsula in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
The tower was built in 1906 on Westerheversand about 1,000 yards from the sea wall on a four-meter high mound heaped with pile foundation (127 thick, long oak piles) and concrete base.

The best time is between June and September. During this time you can walk over a little path with wooden bridges which are a great photo spot.
