Germany Gesellschaftsspiegel, Hamburg
Gesellschaftsspiegel (Engl. society mirror) are two walk-in sculptures by Ólafur Elíasson, which have been on permanent loans from an investor[1] on the Alte Wall in Hamburg since September 2020. Next to the Hamburg City Hall and the Hamburg Stock Exchange, there is an 8.5-meter high construction made of brown-black patinated brass, in front of the town hall with triangular, in front of the stock exchange with diamond-shaped floor plan. In the upper part of the constructions, there are kaleidoscopes with a view of the sky, which also show the upper parts of the surrounding buildings.
Photography Tips
It is quite difficult to find symmetry with your composition here. Since it is a triangle, you should use your skills to find the right angle which can make the image look better. You can stand right beneath the structure though. So with patience and the right equipment, you can catch a good snap here.
