Germany Annweiler

Annweiler has a nice picturesque old town with pretty half-timbered houses, partly framed by vines. The small river Queich flows along the pedestrian zone.

If you want to take a long exposure, ducks might be a problem. They seem to be just waiting to annoy photographers by photo-crashing. Therefore, for blue hour photos, evening is certainly better. If you don't have a tripod with you you can also place the camera on the wall next to the river
A wide angle lens will be a good choice.
