The Marmorpalais was built in 1787–1793 close to the banks of the Heiliger See (Holy Lake) in Potsdam, Brandenburg, Germany. It was the summer residence of King Frederic Wilhelm the 2nd of Prussia.

Photography Tips

From the lakeside you get a great view how close the castle is built to the banks. Looks great in winter and autumn when the colors compliment the dark blue waters of the lake.
