Germany Castle Wolkenstein
The castle Wolkenstein was first mentioned in the 13th century. It was used as a hunting castle, residence, and fair into the 20th century as a district court. Located on a mountain at the river Zschopau bend making it a great view for a drone shot.
Photography Tips
Come here in autumn, when the trees with their warm colors make a good contrast to the white castle walls. Moody winters with the castle covered in fog can also be good.
Travel Information
There are some parking spots at the castle. But in the valley at the junction of B101 and the Annaberger Straße, there is almost every time a free spot.
