Germany Münsterplatz from above, Bonn

The Münsterplatz in Bonn from above. This photo was taken through a window on the fourth floor of the Galeria Kaufhof shopping center. This is a private location, so please keep that in mind. I don‘t think they will like it if you go with a tripod!
During the Christmas Market, this is a great spot to take a picture from above, during golden or blue hour.

Since the windows are locked and can not be opened, you will have to take picture through the glass. A circular polarizer might help to remove some reflections from the lights in the shop.
If you want to shoot a picture the whole Christmas Market, you will need an ultra wide angle lens and probably have to take a panorama to have everything in the frame. Of course, using a slightly longer focal length (like a 50mm), you can isolate certain subjects.

This is a very central spot.

Public transport: a 3-4 minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof (Central station for buses, trams and trains), a 2-3 minute walk from the „Markplatz“ bus stop and from the „Friedensplatz“ bus stop.

Car: there is an underground garage right in front of the shop at the Münsterplatz square.
