Germany Adlerturm
The Adlerturm is part of the former city fortifications of Rüdesheim, of which apart from this tower only a few remains of the wall have survived. The tower was built at the end of the 15th century.
In the 19th century the inn 'Zum Adler' was located in the tower, from which the name derives. Even Goethe stopped at this inn several times during his stays in Rüdesheim.
