Germany Gärtnerbrunnen

Two life-sized, extremely slender figures characterize the fragile-looking ensemble; between them is a wide ring resting on three stilts. On top, the woman stands bent over and waters the plants on the ring, while the man stands opposite her on the pavement. The two seem to be talking. A small frog and a pigeon can be discovered among the plants. The artist wants to show young people interacting with nature. The water jet from the pouring vessel runs down the middle of the ring into the paved depression in the ground. Sometimes it is called the Love Fountain, some say the Gardener's Fountain.
