Germany Blue Hour at former coalmine Nordstern
Blue hour shot of former coal mine Nordstern in #GElsenkirchen.
Nordstern was founded in 1855, back than it was named Bluecher. With interruptions due to bankruptcy, inflation and war damage coal was produced until 1981. Thereafter, production was moved to Zollverein, 1986 to coalmine Consol. In 1993 came the final end of the plant. After huge modifications it’s nowadays the home of several companies, mainly the property group vivawest and, together with the surrounding Nordstern Park, a tourist attraction.

Photography Tips
I like it most just before or during sunrise. The sun rises behind the buildings which are additionallyilluminated.
Travel Information
You can get there by car. Parking spots are all around the buildings. I would use the following dress for the gps: Fritz-Schupp-Strasse, 45899 Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
