Germany Wasserkraftwerk Niezelgrund
The Niezelgrund hydropower plant (DE: "Wasserkraftwerk Niezelgrund") is a listed small hydropower plant in Saxony and is located between Porschendorf and Lohmen on the Wesenitz. Niezelgrund was built in 1877 and electricity production began with the installation of a turbine in 1910. Decommissioned in 1969, the plant was finally put back into operation in 2000 and today supplies 350 Lohmen households with electricity.
It looks like a lost place and is therefore great for this type of photography.

Photography Tips
Try different perspectives and if you post-process your photos, using a technique called "Dodge and Burn" can help to set the focus of the viewer if the current light situation didn't do that already for you. A good time to visit this spot is probably during fall.
Travel Information
There is parking nearby marked on the map. This one isn't free but is very close. If you want to do a hike anyway, you might rather use the free parking opportunities in Lohmen. There is one near the church and "Schloss Lohmen".
