Germany Castle Fürstlich Drehna

The Castle Fürstlich Drehna is the centre of an extraordinary ensemble with Lindenplatz, an estate, an administration office, a nursery and a brewery. On the rest of a medieval predecessor building the castle was completed and redesigned again and again until the late 19th century. The different building elements give the area a fantastic appeal. The landscape park with its 52 hectares and a very rare stock of trees belongs to the most impressive parks in Brandenburg.

If you want to shoot the Castle with the reflection in the moat a wide-angle lens of 16mm or even wider is recommended.

The village Fürstlich Drehna is located in the rolling countryside of Lower Lusatia (Niederlausitz), 7 kilometres away from the A13 motorway connection to Calau. The motorway A13 connects Berlin (110km away) with Dresden (90km away).
