The Seezentrum is located directly at the northern edge of Altmühlsee, not far from the village Muhr am See.

Photography Tips

There are many valid photospots around the lake, but that wooden footbridge is definately one of my favourites. There's no best time for shootings. Nevertheless in this case I prefer the later evening around sunset. Even in winter time, when there are no tourists at all, it's worth trying.

Travel Information

The Seezentrum can be easily reached by car from Gunzenhausen or Ansbach (exit the B 13 in Muhr am see and follow the signposts "Slipanlage", there's a parking place near by). Muhr am See can be reached although by train from Treuchtlingen or Würzburg (20 minutes by walking from the station, you will reach the Seezentrum).
